After making their debut last year, NG Saints are coming in as a 7-seed with hopes of making it further than it did last year.
The NG stands for Neumann Goretti, the home of a talented program in Philadelphia. Hoping to boost the program by showing their talent, NG Saints are hoping to rebound from last year’s loss.

Team MVP: Lamarr Kimble
Lamarr Kimble will be the floor general for this team. He will facilitate and create for his teammates. At the same time, he is a solid shooter and a fine rebounder. He has a high basketball IQ and excels in shot creation and selection. Kimble will need to be the platform for every other player to feed off. He will need to lead and be a sign of consistency in scoring and will likely be the focus of most defenses.
Make-or-Break Player: Scoop Jardine
Antonio Jardine will be the player who will have to take care of the team. He will need to focus on being a distributor. He is an outstanding shooter but can go cold from beyond the arc. New players will rely on his maturity and experience with TBT in the tournament. Having a year to get more familiar with it, I believe Scoop will be the glue guy for this team. After a quick exit last year, Last year’s loss will drive Scoop to show up this year with another tough draw after the previous year’s Eberlein Drive.
Team Outlook:
TBT 2022 Bracket and Matchup Revealed for Buffalo Alumni Team Blue Collar U #UBhornsUP https://t.co/W9ZJRF4MCI
— UB Men's Basketball (@UBmenshoops) June 22, 2022
NG Saints will take on the Blue Collar U in the Syracuse Regional. This is an unfortunate draw for the NG Saints as Blue Collar U were semifinalists last year, having a very successful run in 2021 TBT. Blue Collar finished 4-1, falling short of becoming champions. The NG Saints will need to be at the top of their game as Blue Collar U has their eye on the $1 million payout they missed last year.
