Ariel is a recent graduate from the University of Kansas with a marketing major and entrepreneurship minor. He is a big Jayhawk basketball fan as well as other miscellaneous basketball topics like the NBA Draft. Ariel joined CBB Review in January 2018, making him one of the longest-tenured members of the staff.
Originally from Connecticut, Eklavya chose to enroll at Purdue University, where he is currently a junior. He has done graphic design since age 14 and ran an Instagram account for 3 years posting soccer designs.
George Bagwell is in his second year with CBB Review and specializes in SEC hoops. Standing at just 5'8", he was destined to write about basketball, not play it. He's a freshman at the University of South Carolina.
Mat is a Christian and gives all glory to God.
The creator of CBB Review, Mat graduated from Seton Hall University in 2020 and earned his Master's from Syracuse University in 2021. At CBB Review, Mat is a senior contributor, appears on the podcast 'CBB Review Courtside', and stars on the show 'Mat's Madness.' In his free time, Mat loves to golf, spend time with friends and family, and travel.
From St. Louis, Missouri, Matt is a graduate of Truman State University with a B.S. in Exercise Science. He got his start in sports journalism when he was a member of the Super 10 committee with the NCAA and Turner Studios. Since then, he has been doing bracketology for the past six years and loves doing it. Matt was a manager at Butler University for the women's program in 2011.
Matt has a business economics degree with a history minor from Wofford College and is currently working towards a teaching degree at the graduate level. He is a big Terrier basketball fan as well as a fan of all mid-majors in their quest to upset the big dogs!
Sam is currently in his fourth year at CBB Review and is now a senior writer for ACC coverage, as well an on-air talent on 'CBB Review Courtside.' He is a freshman at Thomas Jefferson University (formerly Philadelphia University) and is majoring in communications. He also plays on the Rams baseball team as a right-handed pitcher. In his free time, Sam loves to watch sports and hang out with his friends, as well as partaking in fantasy football and baseball.
