RJ Barret (30 pts) and Zion Williamson (27 pts) combine for 57 of the Blue Devils’ 72 points as Duke takes down the last undefeated team in college basketball.

Two top 5 teams going head to head in the best basketball arena in the country… this game lived up to the hype. With 17 lead changes, there was no clear winner until the buzzer went off following the 40-minute clash.

Virginia came into this game the only remaining undefeated team in the country, following Michigan’s 54-64 loss to Wisconsin. They did not stay undefeated for very long. Duke performed without point guard Tre Jones, one of the best defensive guards in the country, and they adjusted well.

Virginia was unable to stop the explosive offense from Duke and only went 3 for 17 from deep. This is the most points they have allowed all season.

Although Duke went 2 for 14 from downtown, their work inside the paint powered a huge in-conference win.

Duke bounces back from a 91-95 overtime loss against Syracuse to plead their case that they are still one of the best.

The rematch in Charlottesville is on February 9th, at 8pm. We will all be waiting.
