Ariel is a recent graduate from the University of Kansas with a marketing major and entrepreneurship minor. He is a big Jayhawk basketball fan as well as other miscellaneous basketball topics like the NBA Draft. Ariel joined CBB Review in January 2018, making him one of the longest-tenured members of the staff.
Chandler is a lifelong UConn Huskies fan that grew up in Connecticut and graduated from UConn. He covers the men's basketball team during the season on both the website and on X/Twitter, as well as occasional reporting on other college basketball events in the state of Connecticut.

Joshua Gingrich is a graduate student at Syracuse University, studying broadcast and digital journalism. He graduated from James Madison University in 2022 with a bachelor's degree in journalism. He grew up in a University of Virginia household, going to multiple games a year. He joined CBB Review in October 2024.
Mat is a Christian and gives all glory to God.Â
The creator of CBB Review, Mat graduated from Seton Hall University in 2020 and earned his Master's from Syracuse University in 2021. At CBB Review, Mat writes mostly about the Big East and Syracuse, appears on the podcasts 'CBB Review Studio' and 'CBB Review Courtside', and runs the social media pages. In his free time, Mat loves to golf, spend time with friends and family, and travel. He is the Lead Sports Anchor at WHEC-TV in Rochester, NY.
Nicholas Elliott is a 21-year-old junior at the University of Alabama. Originially from Birmingham, Alabama, this is his first year on the site covering the Alabama Crimson Tide.
Samuel Bass is entering his ninth season on staff at CBB Review, where he has been covering the Atlantic Coast Conference. In addition to covering the ACC, Bass is a consistent on-air guest and an editor. Bass graduated from Thomas Jefferson University in 2024 with a degree in Communication & Media Studies with minors in Law & Society and Sports Management.
