Peter Kiss, Bryant, NEC Tournament

CBB Review hands out awards for each conference tournament in 2022. Up next: The NEC Tournament.

The NEC Tournament Championship saw Bryant run away from Wagner right out of the gate. However, the tournament as a whole still provided some great moments with players who took it into their own hands.

CBB Review NEC Tournament Most Outstanding Player

Peter Kiss, Bryant

In the NEC Tournament title game, Kiss showed how great of a player he is. The leading scorer in the country, he dropped 34 points shooting over 50% from the field. On defense, Kiss forced five turnovers. He played with an edge but also had fun – doing push-ups after a layup against Wagner and always running around with a smile on his face.

Bryant’s NCAA Tournament Prediction

Round of 64

I’m hesitant to actually predict an upset, but I will say that Bryant puts forth a good chance at pulling off a major first-round upset. Charles Pride would’ve won the NEC Tournament MOP for any other team and is one of the best Robin’s to any team’s Batman in the field. The Bulldogs will look to pounce on whoever they go up against.
