The Duke medical staff came to an agreement Monday morning to postpone the game between Duke and Gardner-Webb due to a positive test on the Runnin’ Bulldogs men’s basketball team. There is no date to when the game will be postponed to, but both teams need to come to agreement on a date schedule permitting, and (most importantly) both teams are healthy.

As of right now, the Blue Devils’ first game is against Coppin State at 2pmET at Cameron Indoor Stadium. This will mean for Duke that they will have to add another game till their schedule. This will benefit Duke because having a few days of a longer offseason will give them more practice time to prepare for Saturday’s game. This team will only grow in the next five days together to kick off their season at home.

Possibly, there will be more postponed games for Duke, but as for right now being optimistic will benefit the Blue Devils and staying prepared for whatever happens in this crazy world of College Basketball.
