The Big Ten is the best conference in the country for reasons that are very clear, as they are boasting six teams in the AP Top 25 rankings as of now. The six teams which include Michigan, Michigan State, Iowa, Ohio State, Purdue, and Wisconsin have proven they all deserve to be ranked.
The surprise team is the Ohio State Buckeyes as they were projected to finish as a middle tier team in the conference. With a strong freshman class including former top recruits Luther Muhammad, Duane Washington, and Jaedon LeDee plus the return of star big man Kaleb Wesson sky is the limit for this very young team.
The stars of this league include player of the year candidate Carsen Edwards who looks to take his game to the next level this year as well as the likes of Michigan State center Nick Ward, Wisconsin Center Ethan Happ as well as Michigan swingman Charles Matthews.
The surprise player on another team that I believe will be Jessie Palmer of the Nebraska Cornhuskers, who averaged 17.3 PPG last year, and is already off to a very hot start this year.
