Formerly known as India’s rising, Brown Ballers has one historic win under their belt, and are looking for another this summer.
In 2023, they stunned TBT fans, taking down Red Scare in one of the biggest upsets in the history of the tournament. It’s been two summers since then, but Brown Ballers hopes to bring home another win or two for their fans to remember.

Team MVP: Venkatesha Jois
Jois has been a consistent player on this team and is able to contribute in a lot of ways. Besides scoring, Jois is an important contributor on the glass, in the paint defensively, and as a facilitator. He’s listed at 6-8 but plays bigger due to his overall size. While Jois isn’t an outside threat, he commands attention in the paint and will be a lot to handle for Stars of Storrs.
Make-or-break Player: Jasman Sangha
Sangha is a new addition to Brown Ballers having wrapped up his college career this past season. He’s a former D-I player and shot over 40% from three for Canisius last season. He played for three different D-I schools in three straight years, so who knows if this will be his only time with Brown Ballers or not, but while they have him, they better utilize him the right way.
Team Outlook
Pulling off an upset of their magnitude, Stars of Storrs should know what they’re getting into against a Brown Ballers team that will defend hard and look to pull off another big upset. However, there’s only a couple of D-I players on this squad, so whether or not they have it in the tank again will be the big question.
