After a less-than-ideal debut last year, Fail Harder hopes to bounce back and get their first TBT win

Fail Harder entered TBT last year, hoping to start off strong. Instead, they lost by 23 to All Good Dawgs. The team looks a little different, with three returners, but they’re hoping that the new pieces can push them over the edge and lead them to several victories.

Team MVP: Darius Adams

Adams played for Purple Hearts last year, and while his team didn’t have any success, he did. Adams scored 17 points, the game’s leading scorer and the only member of his team to score in double digits. They’ll need him to do the same this year if they want any chance to win.

He’s not a one-hit wonder either. His points per game from 2016-2021 were truly ridiculous. He averaged over 30 PPG in every season, including a jaw-dropping 40 PPG one season. He might need to score 40 if Fail Harder wants to succeed, but hopefully, the rest of his team can step up.

Make-or-break Player: Djimon Henson

Henson is the highest scoring returner from last season, scoring 12 points on 4-9 shooting. He was a spark off the bench and one of the lone bright spots for the team. Hopefully, he can bring that spark again, whether that’s as a starter or on the bench again. He grabbed three rebounds as well.

They’ll need guys to step up if they want to win, and he’s a guy who’s shown he can do that. He should have an advanced role, and it’s up to him to step into it.

Team Outlook

One concern for them is size. Reginald Kissoonlal is a seven-footer, but besides him, they have just one other player above 6’6. They’ll rely on them a lot, and if foul trouble becomes an issue, that can be a huge disadvantage for them. The odds aren’t in their favor, but they have the drive and heart to win, which could be enough to shock the world.
