Latest on Duke basketball:
The No. 9 Duke Blue Devils started the year 5-2 and only lost to No. 1 Kansas and No. 4 Kentucky, but they have been battle-tested this season.
After a 75-72 loss to the Jayhawks last Tuesday, the Blue Devils returned to Durham, North Carolina, and defeated Seattle University 70-48 in their most recent contest.
Despite the sizable victory, the Blue Devils did not shoot the ball well. They posted a 39.6% field goal percentage and shot 10-for-36 on 3-point attempts.
Duke is headlined by projected first-overall pick Cooper Flagg, who averages 15.6 PPG, 8.4 RPG, and shoots 70.6% from the field. Wooden Award front-runner Johni Broome will challenge Flagg and provide an exciting matchup for fans.
Latest on Auburn basketball:
The Tigers left Hawaii as the champions of the Maui Invitational and have notched three AP top-15 victories and four quad-one victories. Johni Broome walked away from the tournament with the MVP trophy after averaging 21.7 PPG, 15 RPG, and 4.3 APG.
Auburn has jumped to No. 2 in the AP Poll and gets the chance to continue to build on its resume and make the argument for a top-line seed come March.
With six games left until conference play starts, Auburn will continue to make the case for the the best in the conference and for the nation.
