After a two-year hiatus, Brotherly Love Pro Am Foundation is back, and looking to prove to the new guys who they are
Brotherly Love Pro Am Foundation, formerly Brotherly Love joined TBT in 2019, and started off with a bang, winning three games in their debut. The following year, they picked up where they left off, making the quarterfinals of the tournament before getting knocked out. Then, it all went downhill. They would go on to lose by 32 in the first round and decided it was time for a break.
Now, they’re back, and ready to get back to their prime level. Brotherly Love Pro Am Foundation are hoping they can win the million, and do it with love.

Region: Pittsburgh
All-time Record: 4-2
First Matchup: vs. Best Virginia (July 20 at 3 p.m. on TBT Live)
Team MVP: Bijan Johnson
Johnson is the only player on this team who played in TBT last year, and he was terrific, scoring 17 points and adding 6 assists for JUCOPRODUCTS. At 6’1, he is extremely shifty and creates separation well. He lives for the big moment, which is obviously crucial in TBT with the Elam Ending.
He did commit six turnovers in that game last year, and that’s unacceptable. He’ll have to limit that if Brotherly Love Pro Am Foundation wants any chance of succeeding.
Make-or-break Player: Donte Greene
Greene is a former NBA first-round pick, but has been spending his time recently in the Big 3. Now he moves on to the TBT. At 36, he has years of basketball experience, and he’s done it all, playing in the NBA, overseas, and Big 3, which shows he can adapt to different basketball styles.
They’ll need him and his 6’10 frame if they want to get back on track. Greene is the tallest player on the team, so he’ll have to man the paint. If he can do so and score 12-15 points, Brotherly Love Pro Am Foundation has a chance.
Team Outlook
TBT’s selection committee isn’t giving Brotherly Love Pro Am Foundation the warmest welcome, having them face Best Virginia, who bring in a loaded roster. The good news, they could have a home crowd in Pittsburgh. Everyone knows the importance of a home crowd in TBT, so hopefully the people of Pittsburgh can back them. They wouldn’t be backed in the next game though, as they’d most likely face Zoo Crew, which is the Pittsburgh Alumni team.
The path will be tough, but this team has been here before and knows what it takes to win.
