Sometimes, all you need is short and sweet. That’s the case with the Ivy League Tournament, as only three games are played in the whole tournament. In the end, it was Princeton getting their revenge on Yale and winning the Ivy League Tournament 74-65. This is Princeton’s first appearance in the NCAA Tournament since 2017.

Tosan Evboumwan, Princeton
Princeton’s star all year shined when it mattered most, scoring 21 points in the championship game on 8-14 shooting. He also added 21 points in the semifinal matchup against Penn, leading all scorers in the game. Tosan has the talent to hang with the high major guys, and his skillset could cause some trouble for opponents on opening weekend of March Madness.

Princeton’s NCAA Tournament Prediction

Princeton only played one tournament team this year, and that was Iona, who they lost to by six. They will probably fall into the 14-15 seed range, and it’ll be very difficult for them to adjust to the level of play. The Ivy League hasn’t won an NCAA Tournament game since introducing the Ivy League Tournament in 2017. If Princeton wants to pull off the upset, they’ll need a big game from Evboumwan, and one of their guards to get hot from deep.
