Ohio State Dominates Villanova in Big Win
Ohio State is the real deal. They dominated Villanova from start to finish and won 76-51 in Columbus as part of the Gavitt Tipoff Games.
The Buckeyes started the game with a 9-0 run forcing the Wildcats to call an early timeout. The timeout didn’t do much as the Buckeyes bolted out to a 19-3 lead. Sophomore guard, Duane Washington Jr., was on fire to start the game dropping 11 points in the first 3 minutes.
He would cool down later but would still end up being the leading scorer finishing with 14. Kaleb Wesson, CJ Walker, Luther Muhammad, and DJ Carton all ended up in double digits as well.
As for Villanova, they shot 30.6% from the field and was led by Jermaine Samuels who finished with 14 points on 45% shooting.
Villanova looks to bounce back on Saturday against Ohio while Ohio State looks to keep rolling when they host Stetson next Monday.
