Nova Advances Past Radford

Villanova hit 14 3s in their first round game against 16 seeded Radford as they cruised to a 87-61 victory. All starters for Villanova scored in double digits with Jalen Brunson leading the way with 16. Radford was lead by Donald Hicks who scored a team high 13. Villanova will play again Saturday against the Alabama and Virginia Tech winner.

NCAA Tournament Recap: Ohio State survives scare from South Dakota State, advances to round of 32

The 5th seeded Ohio State Buckeyes defeated the 12th seeded South Dakota State Jackrabbits 81-73 Thursday night in the West Regional. As the first round of March Madness progresses, Gonzaga took care of UNC Greensboro 68-64, making it their 10th win in the opening-round NCAA Tournament in Boise, Idaho.
